I didn’t grow up as an athlete. I started training at 30 – late enough to feel awkward walking into the gym, but early enough for it to take over my personality.
Eight years later, training is the part of my day that keeps everything else together. It has taught me discipline, carried me through difficult weeks, and given me somewhere to go when I need to get out of my own head.
Then progress became an obsession. One more rep. One more set. Constant gym maths, meals planned around protein, and rest days spent wondering whether walking to the fridge counts as active recovery. You notice changes nobody else can see and start thinking about your next workout before you’ve finished the current one.
That’s where GymBrained began.
It’s for real people balancing training with work, family, setbacks, and everyday life – not perfect athletes, just people who keep showing up and occasionally cancel plans because leg day “can’t be moved.”
Every design comes from the habits, thoughts, and inside jokes lifters instantly recognise. If you’ve ever explained your training split to someone who never asked, checked your reflection in a suspiciously flattering supermarket window, or seen a T-Shirt design and thought, “That’s uncomfortably accurate,” you’re already part of the club.
Good fabric. Honest jokes. Zero pep talks.
Founded in 2025. The obsession predates the paperwork.
